Ongrid vs Offgrid Waste Monitoring
Choosing the right waste management system for your setup

Waste infrastructure options
The key is matching each output with the best solution for your site. We will help you assess what waste management option is best for your site: Ongrid or Offgrid.
Now that the Wasted* Conveyor has separated the pee & poo, where does it go?
Ongrid Waste Monitoring:

All waste streams are sourced into containers, ensuring no waste encounters the ground. We’ve used various containers like 55-gallon barrels and 250-gallon IBC totes. By doing so, typically, no permitting is required since our Wasted* truck pumps out the waste as if it was a portable toilet. The best part is that all the collected pee is turned into fertilizers!
Efficient Servicing
Above-ground containment allows for quick removal by service trucks.
Circularity
Wasted* turns the essential nutrients in the collected urine into our
recycled fertilizers, like WeeBloom.
Flexible Permitting
Most sites will not need a permit since the waste is fully contained
above ground.
Remote Sensor Waste Monitoring starts at $85/month
Event Based Servicing

we offer a revenue-sharing program. Inquire for more info.
Single Trip Servicing – alternative option
Calculated based on the distance from the Wasted*Hub.
Offgrid Waste Monitoring:

The Offgrid waste management infrastructure is ideal for managing waste in remote areas, typically areas that a truck cannot drive to. It uses natural processes to safely return urine to the soil via a standard leach field, returning nutrients back to the earth. Meanwhile, in a basement-like chamber, the poop and toilet paper gets deposited and begins to dehydrate into a natural soil amendment.
Environmental Harmony
Leverages natural processes to manage waste without chemicals
or additives.
Minimal Maintenance
Requires little ongoing effort thanks to self-sustaining systems.
Cost Effective
No recurring costs to remove the waste since it is being
reintroduced on site.
N/A
Costs include decomposition vault and leach field hardware.
Note that the Offgrid waste monitoring system typically
requires a permit, a cost that differs from county to county.
