A portion of all the waste we collect in Vermont is turned into safe and effective fertilizer to be used by local farms. Recycling the waste helps decrease the carbon footprint of everyone who rents with Wasted* or uses one of our units, which we think is pretty cool. Wasted* is also investing in technology and conducting groundbreaking research to transform the portable toilet industry into a more sustainable and green future.

Boston
Launched in February 2024, Boston is Wasted*’s first expansion market. While we work with regulators to permit human waste recycling — replicating what we are doing in Vermont — we are focused on implementing the most sustainable portable operation possible.
Burlington
Wasted* was founded in Burlington. As a result, we are one of the top porta potty providers in the Greater Burlington Area and Vermont. We have partnered with a variety of local farms to test and distribute the fertilizer we created from waste collection.
